Students at our school are happy, respectful and confident learners. Elderslie Public School opened in 2009 with the core values of caring for each other, mutual respect and responsibility, personal excellence, participation and resilience underpinning everything that we do. Our success is achieved by utilising our outstanding facilities and state-of-the-art technology to implement strong literacy, numeracy and specialised support programs and increase student's learning choices. Our dedicated, highly skilled teachers know each child well and focus on personalised learning and learning independence. A child's wellbeing is at the centre of all decisions, with each student's welfare everyone's responsibility. Our school implements a positive behaviour intervention system which is underpinned by strong, clear discipline and consistent recognition of expected behaviour. Our school works hard to provide a nuturing, friendly but structured environment where all students experience learning success. We have a supportive school community where parents are strong partners in their child's learning. Our school provides extra curricula and extension activities including junior and senior choir, dance group, craft club, history club,environmental rangers, computer enrichment group and an active after school program.
